Pamela Martin Johnston
Principal, Lead Designer
Hello, and thank you for taking an interest in Serendipity Design. I’m happy you’re here. Here’s a little about me:
I am passionate about art, design, people, dogs, and tacos. I’m a Midwest turned Southern California gal that loves travel and all things outdoorsy. I am a proud Aztec, having graduated with honors from San Diego State’s FIDER accredited Interior Design Program and earning a BA in Applied Arts & Sciences with an emphasis in Interior Design.
I have worked in the design and building industry since 2005. In addition to an accomplished and diverse career in design, my first profession was in the luxury hospitality industry. This experience afforded me a strong foundation in high level customer service and an understanding of how to create comfortable, luxurious surroundings. Working in the design-build sector has made a huge difference in my knowledge base and understanding of construction. I am well-versed in all aspects of residential remodeling, including space planning, interior architecture, kitchen and bath design, custom cabinetry, material specifications, and project management.
Helping clients to create a vision for their homes and bringing that to life is my passion. I have dedicated much of my career to extraordinary client care and building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other team members. My ultimate goal as a designer is to work alongside my clients to create spaces that are inspiring, meaningful, and a representation of their dreams.
Outside of work, I enjoy a rich life full of family, friends, laughter and great food & wine.
